The interview process

    Online assessment

    About 90 minutes of work-based assessments of cognitive and behavioural skills; a Practice Zone is available and you receive a feedback email afterwards.

    Assessment centre

    About 3 hours, with exercises showing your skills and interest in the area and questions from the team you would join (Super Days in the US). For insight and work experience programmes, stage three is usually an online interview.

    Route to a graduate role

    HSBC says that in several locations graduate places are filled via internships, so internships are the best route to a graduate offer where offered; insight programmes (where offered) fast-track to internships.
