The interview process

Fidelity Investments (US): application
OfficialApply in the fall of sophomore or junior year (mid-September through mid-October); one application is considered for all internship skill areas, then resume review. Asset management internships follow their own timelines (Fall 2026 for London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, MBA and quantitative research; Winter or Spring 2027 for Boston equity research, fixed income, direct lending and Strategic Advisers).

Fidelity Investments (US): phone call and interviews
OfficialSelected students have an initial phone call with a recruiter; if the skills and experience match, they are invited to interview. Interviews run on a rolling basis and internship hiring aims to finish by January. Early interviews are mostly behaviour-based (Fidelity recommends the STAR method).
